Privacy & Safety

How your information is handled, what stays private, and how you stay in control.

Information we collect

When you create an account, submit a memorial, leave a sign of support, RSVP to an event, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email, your child's memorial details, photographs you share, and any contact or — separately — confidential justice information you enter.

What becomes public

Only information a family has chosen to make public, and that an administrator has approved, appears on the public memorial pages. Private contact information and confidential justice requests are never shown publicly.

Seeking Justice

A parent may indicate on their memorial request that they are seeking justice. The words “Seeking Justice” may appear publicly only with the parent’s explicit permission and administrator approval. Selecting this option, and any such public wording, does not authorize the publication of private contact information, evidence, correspondence, or confidential case details. Those remain in a separate, protected record accessible only to the submitting family and authorized administrators.

Who can access private information

Private contact information and confidential justice submissions are stored in separate, protected records. Only the submitting family and authorized administrators can access them. Public visitors cannot retrieve them, and public pages never query those records.

Support Wall protections

The Support Wall is off by default and is fully parent-controlled. Families choose whether names, prayer symbols, and acknowledgment totals are shown, and how often they are notified. There are no rankings, follower counts, popularity comparisons, payments, or public free-text comments. Families can turn the wall off at any time, which immediately hides all signs.

Retention and deletion choices

Families may remove a memorial from public view while retaining their confidential justice request and account, or they may permanently delete a memorial and all associated photographs, private contact information, Support Wall signs, and justice information. Permanent deletion requires identity verification and a clear confirmation that explains what will be removed.

How to contact the administrator

You can reach the administrator through the Contact page. Messages are sent privately and are not published. If you have a question about your memorial, your privacy settings, or your confidential justice request, the administrator is your point of contact.

This page is a plain-language summary for the private development phase. Final policy language will be reviewed before public launch.
